Torment

Hell on earth.
That’s what it’s like for Luce to be apart from her fallen angel boyfriend, Daniel. It took them an eternity to find one another, but now he has told her he must go away. Just long enough to hunt down the Outcasts—immortals who want to kill Luce. Daniel hides Luce at Shoreline, a school on the rocky California coast with unusually gifted students: Nephilim, the offspring of fallen angels and humans. At Shoreline, Luce learns what the Shadows are, and how she can use them as windows to her previous lives. Yet the more Luce learns, the more she suspects that Daniel hasn’t told her everything. He’s hiding something—something dangerous. What if Daniel’s version of the past isn’t actually true? What if Luce is really meant to be with someone else? - Amazon

                 My Review
Okay so- kind of a let down I think now that I thought it over. As I read elsewhere, it just repeated, we kind of didn't learn anything new that wasn't already told in the first book, there were hints at some new things. I did NOT like that another guy came into the story. No. Not at all. I love the romace between Daniel and Luce. There is nothing better than a story about a hott, loving, sweet, and caring fallen angel and a human girl. I thought it was going to be like Twilight where it's a love triangle with Cam, Daniel, and Luce. But no- Cam isn't there anymore. Miles is taking his spot and I don't care for him that much. I liked learning about the 'shadows' and how they work. Where they came from. Even though Luce doesn't seem to listen very well- it does pay off in the end and we learn new things! I couldn't wait for the third book to come out. BUT- Torment was alright in my opinion. I still highly adore this series!
